Live Without Water

How long  we can live without water?

If you ever get lost in the wilderness , remember what the survivors call " the rule of threes ."

You can live three minutes without air, but we do not recommend testing. In a hostile environment - say that it is snowing - you can survive three hours without shelter. After three days you need water or perish. Can you hold on for three weeks without food , but we promise it will not be fun.

Despite this rule , probably useful , some people have survived into 8 to 10 days without water. Again commented that these feats are best left to the truly desperate .

Our composite body being 65 % water, the liquid component is essential for people .

The water flows through the blood , carrying oxygen and nutrients to cells and sliding outside the body waste . Protects our joints and soft tissue. Without a routine intake of water we could not digest or absorb food.

We should to understand:

No water, no life, is what is needed for good health and have a healthy diet.

And many people, children, seniors and teens die from not having that many splashed water.

Having water is one of the rights that exist and one of the most important.

Still, water-related diseases each year leave about four million dead.

This means just one thing, "without water there is no life", just a desolate planet with necessity of life.

Take care of our natural resources now, we are fortunate to have it yet.

A Short Story about Water

Toof and Coof

Once upon a time two mice called Toof and Coof who were the best friends in the world. One night Toof screamed, because there was not water at home and he was really thirsty. Coof ran fast and asked him: what happen? and Toof said: we do not have water at home what we are going to do?.

Coof had an extrange idea...do not worry Toof, I know that the fresh water is almost disappearing in the earth, for that reason we need to fly to the moon and try to find water there.
We  are going to the moon

They had three ideas to arrive to the moon. The first one was flying to the space on a dove, but it was impossible, because the dove can not fly to the space. The second one was to throw one of them to the moon with a screen, but it did not work. The screen was not enough strength to send a mouse to the moon. Finally they decided to build a rocket. Mice worked a lot for ten days. When the modern rocket was ready they embark on their unforgettable trip.
Modern rocket

The trip was wonderful; Toof and Coof were exciting and they saw stars, comets, other planets and the dear planet earth from the space. When they landed on the moon discovered that there was no water, just rocks. Sadly returned home, but decided to care and not waste most valuable resource on earth...Water.

La Yeguada Forest Reserve

Water uses would include drinking, cooking, washing, but most of the water used is for agriculture, electricity and industry. In Panama we can find an important hydroelectric called La Yeguada. La Yeguada Forest Reserve is located in Calobre, Veraguas province and was created to protect San Juan river, who supply water to the Yeguada hydroelectric plant. San Juan river is necessary for operation of this hydroelectric, because it provides energy to produce electricity. In fact, thanks to water, rural communities in Calobre as: El Macho, Cicuaro, los Corralitos, El Barrero, Llano Colorado, La Laguna have electricity benefits; without this resource would be impossible.

This marvelous place offers also a magnificent lake, multiples rivers and natural waterfalls to relax and enjoy with friends and family.

Water is important for our lives

Water is the essence of LIFE and is necessary for every cell of the body therefore a basic fundamental resource for all plants, animals and humans. Our body is composed by water (more than 80%).Everybody needs water to be alive, we should be completely aware that we are water and we depend of the water.

Water is involved in all processes of life and most of the human body is water, blood is 83% watermuscles 75% water, the brain is 85% water, bones are 22% water. Besides water acts as a lubricant in body processes such as digestion, lubricates joints and cartilage so that we move with less rigidity. To add regulates body temperature, removes toxins through urine and sweat, transports nutrients because these dissolve in water and it pass through the capillaries.

Caring our Vital Resource

There is lack of water around the world. The world´s population is growing and the global demand for fresh water has become much more and the water is not renewable. We need to care our vital resource, here! are my suggestions:

1-Avoid water pollution, because is the worst factor that destroy fresh water supply.

2-Use just the water that you need

3-Recycle water: If you have a pool at home, when you clean it, use that water (pool water) to water plants.

4-Don´t water the garden when the day is too hot, because the water evaporate.

5-Closing faucet when you are shaving or brushing your teeth.

6-Goverment needs evaluate and monitor water resources( especially in domestic use). Create a timetable for supply water to the houses; without preferences.

7-We need to do little workshops in the community for teaching ¿How we can care the water? and include our children, because they are receptive and our future.
